The Anaheim Housing Authority (AHA) Mainstream Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open. Pre-applications are being accepted from December 2, 2019, until further notice

Please note: According to the AHA, "To qualify for the mainstream preference, a household member must satisfy all three eligibility criteria: (1) must be between 18 to 61 years old, (2) must be disabled, and (3) must currently be transitioning out of an institutional or other segregated setting, at serious risk of institutionalization, homeless, or at risk of becoming homeless. In order to apply, you must attach verification that you or a member of your household meets all three of the above criteria. Applications without the required documentation attached will be returned to you."

To apply during the opening period, mail a written request to receive an application by mail to the Anaheim Housing Authority at 201 S. Anaheim Blvd., Suite 201, Anaheim, CA 92805

Once the application has been completed, it must be submitted in person to the Anaheim Housing Authority office located at 201 S. Anaheim Blvd., Suite 201, Anaheim, CA 92805

This waiting list has the following preferences:

  • Live or work in the city of Anaheim

  • Veteran or current members of the American armed forces and the widowed spouses of veterans

Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, weighed by order of preferences
