Helping Hand House - Homeless Prevention Program provides assistance with rental or utility payments to prevent eviction or disconnection of services. Applicants must have a current disconnect or pay-or-vacate notice. Additional eligibility requirements include the following
Applicant must be a Pierce County resident, must have at least one minor child living in the home that is 17 years of age or younger,must be considered low income and must complete a life-skills class on budgeting and energy conservation.
If approved for assistance, funds will not be released until the life-skills class is completed.
