Provides financial assistance to needy families in South Lake County only in the form of rent assistance for those about to be evicted or who have had their utilities shut off -- Mascotte, Groveland, Clermont, Minneola, and Montverde and points in between and south to the county line. To receive assistance, families must be residents of South Lake County, FL and have incomes which fall below the U.S. Government poverty guidelines. Also, provides clothing, small appliances, and miscellaneous support to needy families in South Lake County only and food supplies to low-income families in South Lake County only who require the support due to emergency situations (e.g., illness, loss of job, etc.). Also, provides assistance for medical treatment and prescription drugs.
