Non profit organization that helps women transition from life in prison or jail to life in the real world. Assists female ex offenders with housing expenses. The Center, located on Garland Street, is often the first place women go after being released from jailor prison. Basic needs such as finding resources for clothing, shoes, personal care items such as tooth brushes, soap, and shampoos are just a few things the Center helps with. The staff at the Center also connect women with work agencies and job skill training sessions, helping them find employment. During their transition back into normal society, women also receive one on one counseling to keep them focused and well guided. Call for information. Hours: 9:00am to 4:30pm, Mon. - Fri.
