Friends in Sonoma Helping offers a variety of programs and services to those in need within the community when funds are available.

Requests for rental or utility assistance require a private interview and generally, a site visit.
Due to limited finances, clients are usually allowed financial help once, although there have been exceptions. When possible, a referral to another program may also be suggested.

Mission Statement: Friends in Sonoma Helping (F.I.S.H.) provides, as available, temporary or supplemental help to residents in need of assistance, generally but not limited to: food, clothing, rent, utility assistance or transportation to medical, dental or social service appointments. In so far as possible, services of F.I.S.H are provided by volunteers, unpaid except for possible reimbursement of expenses. F.I.S.H.helps keep families in Sonoma Valley from becoming homeless or going hungry.
